Vans BMX Riders Biography
A Huntington Beach local turned street riding legend, Dakota Roche, aka “Dak”, is the modern face of BMX. With the Vans BMX family since 2010, Dakota’s style is often portrayed as “skateboarding on a bike.” His relentless and innovative riding earned him Ride BMX Magazine’s 2015 Street Rider of the Year award, followed by a heavy ender part in Vans’ 2016 Illustrated video. With an endless list of contest results, awards and video parts, Dak’s powerful riding continuously pushes the boundaries of BMX.
East Coast transplant and current west coast heavyweight, Ty Morrow is a pioneer in the world of modern day BMX street riding. Known for ground-breaking video parts, a past X-Games second place finish, and riding style that mixes technical moves with raw energy and power, Ty often lets his riding do the talking for him and it usually has plenty to say.
Starting his pro career as a young teenager, New Jersey native Sean Ricany is no stranger to the BMX community. With a new terrain focus and technical trick combo down to a science, Ricany’s unwavering riding style is making a heavy re-emergence onto the BMX street scene.
Hailing from Perth, Australia Calvin Kosovich is known for riding fast and sending it in the streets. An immense passion for BMX, Calvin took the opportunity to move to the USA and now resides in California, riding as much as possible and climbing the ladder towards the American dream!
